Above Right: Label image of Harmony 1001 "St. Louis Blues", released in June 1949. It was recorded on 4/14/32 and first released in June 1932 on Brunswick 6330. No musical instruments or mechanical devices used on this recording other than one guitar. There was one more Mills Brothers reissue on the Harmony label (1002), also released in June 1949. These Harmony releases were manufactured by Columbia and distributed by Varsity Records (which had become mainly a budget reissue label at that time).
