Above: Photo of The Cues, who were the backup group for many of the Atlantic Records single artists. There were several different aggregations, this one is (L-R) Ollie Jones, Jimmy Breedlove, Abel De Costa, Robie Kirk, and Edward Barnes. Kirk was also known as Winfield Scott, composer of "Tweedle Dee" and other hit songs. The Playboys were actually Charlie White backed by the first recorded version of The Cues.
