SPOTLIGHT ON APOLLO RECORDS
Above: Full page clipping from Billboard Music Yearbook 1946. Apollo, located in New York City, was operated and owned by Bess Berman, Ike Berman, Sam Schneider, and Hy Siegel. Bess acquired the interests of the other partners in 1948. Bernie Lawrence was National Sales Manager. Note reference to Hub Records at bottom of clipping. Apollo didn't own Hub, which was also located in New York City, they just distributed the label.
