From Trade Magazine: Savoy Records To Move NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 18, 1956— ....The label is reporting steadily building action on its "Mr. Moon" disking by the Five Pennies, with latest favorable reaction coming in from Chicago.
From Trade Magazine: Feb. 1956— ....Lots of activity at Savoy these days. Herman Lubinsky tried to take a vacation in Florida, but had to fly back to Newark to lend a hand in the office. Nappy Brown flew into town to record, and also the Five Pennies, who started kickng up some fuss with their "Mr. Moon." Then Herman signed a new group called, conveniently, the Savoys....
