Above Right: Label image of Capitol 3185 recorded on April 25, 1955 and released in July 1955. This is the fourth of many by The Five Keys on Capitol (1954-58). Maryland Pierce sings the lead and Rudy West does the echo, in the same manner as "Close Your Eyes."

Co-composer Leroy Kirkland was a guitar player and orchestra leader, backing up songstress Mamie Thomas on at least a few occasions. A "Leroy Kirkland" also shows up in writer's credits on two of The Five Bills' sides on the Brunswick label. Was this the one and same person?
