Above: The Duke Hampton Orchestra in the 1940's. In this picture, Virtue is playing the bass fiddle and Aletra the piano. Dawn and Carmalita were saxophone players. Duke was their brother. The Duke Hampton Orchestra did have at least one release on King Records (1953) featuring Aletra as vocalist.
