(Left) Marv Goldberg in the radio studio. The first 75 "Yesterday's Memories Rhythm & Blues Party" shows were broadcast over live radio. In October 1998, he moved to the Internet to continue the series over www.vocalgroupharmony.com.
Over the last 40 years, Marv has authored close to 250 articles about 1940s and 1950s R&B. In the 1970s, he was co-editor/publisher of Yesterday's Memories, a magazine dedicated to the history of R&B music. Marv wrote for Discoveries magazine for almost 10 years. His most recent articles have appeared both in Blues & Rhythm and as direct postings to his Yesterday's Memories web site.
