From Billboard 11/22/52: "In a renewed drive to hypo its disk sales in the r.&b. field, Coral Records this week added former Derby thrush Bette McLaurin to its artist roster. Miss McLaurin's most recent waxing of 'My Heart Belongs To Only You' is getting good sales action in both the r.&b. and pop fields. Her first Coral recording dates will be held later this month."
