Above: Photo is the first Crickets group. (L-R) Leon Carter, Dean Barlow, Harold Johnson, Rodney Jackson and Eugene Stapleton. A second Crickets group was formed with Dean Barlow, Freddie Barksdale, J.R. Bailey and Bobby Spencer. Later, a third Crickets group consisted of Dean Barlow, Robert Bynam, William Lindsay and Joe "Ditto" Dias.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CRICKETS FOR THEIR INDUCTION INTO THE UGHA HALL OF FAME ON 4/24/99!

Beacon Label-Be Faithful-The Crickets-1954

Above: The Beacon label was owned by Joe Davis (as were the Jay-Dee, Joe Davis and Davis labels). All of the Crickets records are excellent, but this one is probably my favorite. The flip side is "Sleepy Little Cowboy" by The Deep River Boys.
