SPOTLIGHT ON THE MELODISC LABEL - 1945

Above: Full page clipping from Billboard Music Yearbook 1945. Melodisc, located in Hollywood, was owned by Daniel O'Brien. Bob Goodman was General Sales Manager.

Note that "Dan Grissan" incorrectly spelled in the clipping was "Dan Grissom" on the record labels. There was possibly some sort of relationship between Melodisc and Exclusive/Excelsior. Grissom recorded for all three labels in 1945 and The Flennoy Trio recorded for both Melodisc and Excelsior in 1945.
