BILL JOHNSON & HIS MUSICAL NOTES (1947-1954):

Item Number TP119:

All of the tracks on this CD have been mastered using 44.1 kHz-16 bit WAV files. Sound quality is very good. Audio samples in RealAudio and Media Player compressed format are provided below.

The first 23 selections are Bill Johnson & His Musical Notes from the 78-rpm records in my collection. Many feature the tenor lead of Gus Gordon. Some tracks duplicate those on the "78 RPM R&B Vocal Groups" CD series.

There are 5 bonus tracks by Bonnie Davis & The Piccadilly Pipers, also from the original 78-rpm records.

Includes a four page color booklet (card stock).
