Download (file size = 9MB)Lou Rallo hosts this weekly program broadcast on Thursday nights at 7 PM ET on WRSU 88.7 FM, Rutgers University's radio station, in New Jersey. The signal reaches from Princeton to Staten Island, Union County to Middletown and Sandy Hook.
The central focus of the show is the 1950's and early 1960's lesser known material. Also featured are newer releases and the roots of the music from the 1930's and 1940's (such as The Charioteers, Delta Rhythm Boys, Mills Brothers, Golden Gate Quartet, Ink Spots and others), both secular and gospel. Occasionally included is the sweet soul harmony sound inspired by the artistry of the fifties.
